Enable Guest Account in Windows 10 using Command Prompt

This is very eays and not much time consuming as well since it will be done using Command Prompt. At first, open Command Prompt with administrator privilege. To do so, the simplest method is to press Win + X and select “Command Prompt (Admin)”. Now enter the following command,

net user Techatrick /add

Do not forget to replace “Techatrick” with the actual name of the person, who is about to use your computer as a guest. Now, you have to enter the following command,

net localgroup Users Techatrick /delete

here, you have to replace the Techatrick again with the actual name. This command will delete the new user account from the “Users” group of Windows. Hence, it will be used as a guest account.

net localgroup Guests Techatrick /add

if you enter the above command, it will be added to the Guest account list of your Windows computer.

Add Guest Account in Windows 10 using Local Users and Groups

Local Users and Groups is such a panel that helps the admin to manage accounts without using any third party software or any hassle. Therefore, you can use the same panel to add Guest account in Windows 10. At first, press Win + R, type lusrmgr.msc and hit enter. Alternatively, you can search for the same in the Taskbar search box. Now, you should get a “Users” folder on your left hand side. Click on that. On the right-hand side, you should get “More Actions”. Click on that and select “New User”.
